A six word story is not just six words - it needs to have meaning behind it and allow the reader to question or encourage them to consider something they might not really have thought about. Over the next few weeks I am challenging students to write their own six word stories. Their six word story can be one of the following, summed up in six words:
Your life
An event (or what life is like for you at the moment)
Something that concerns you
A 'protest' or something that makes others think about an issue
A tribute to someone (who inspires you)
A dream
About a place
Or all of the above.
Once they have published one, consider replying to your child's six word story with one of your own.
