Meanwhile in Term 4... We have had a great session with Jasmine from the 'Food for thought' Education Trust run by the heart foundation. She helped us review the healthy food pyramid and look at serving size. Some students were surprised by some of the things they knew. They should start updating their blogs tomorrow and you can hopefully read about their discoveries. Up soon after that is our MALFROY SCHOOL REUNION - we are doing an item that we have been practicing for (the kids have been working hard on this), and then we will be presenting our best efforts in the ART GALLERY display. I am so impressed with how many talented artists we have! In between all this we have some final assessments and then it will be time for graduation for our year 6 students and looking at ambassador potential in our year 5 students.
I am really proud of the efforts room 12 students have made this year. They have improved their independence, questioning and thinking skills, ability to manage themselves and work with others, their work ethic (sometimes I have to force some of them to go out for a break at morning tea because they'd rather get their work done!), and their ioverall attitudes. Tumeke room 12! Thank you to all of the parents who support your child's learning. You can be proud of them.
